- Marcia Weaver and 17 others like this.
- Marcia Weaver "that touch of resurrection as it slithers down my throat". I read this while sipping my tea. So timely! And I agree with Janey, no deleting. This is beautiful, Ma'am (Professor) Sonja!
- Gill Kingsland Oh yes, I empathise with 'cozy feel of book in hand,
the goodness of coffee rich
in taste and smell, yes, both,
that touch of resurrection
as it slithers down my throat,, but also 'revel in the snow'. Love this, a small stone wrapped round an aspect of life being lived and enjoyed. - Pam Niles Sonja, so glad you didn't remember '6-word Saturday'... what a beautiful poem. That's a keeper!
- Catherine van Vliet-Saivres Really good... Join me - celebrate the outdoors - in fact we do! Sonja ...
- Maggie Beam If I lived in the country, I might bundle up and go outdoors. I live on perimeter of mid-town lovely townhomes facing the drive-by shooting neighborhood... No tree hugging here.
- Sonja Chan Oh wow, dear ones, so love your responses! Then I take it back, Evi:) thanks for the comment.
- Sonja Chan Marsh, am still expecting that cup of tea coming my way! and yep.. okay, none of it!(del....)
- Sonja Chan Know what Gill, with you and Pam (Glennon), I did think... who wouldn't want to laze with that book and coffee with such crazy weather..but it was so challenging to bring my poetic mood outside!:)
- Sonja Chan Really glad you'd join me outdoors... was not sure if anybody would have.lol! Thanks, Cath for your sweet response! Love it1:)
- Sonja Chan I sure would do the same, Maggie.. but really, wherever you are, and whatever weather comes, we seldom can resist the communion! Thanks for joining us here!
- Nicki Jelly Maskelyne Love this, it's brilliant.
Six Word Saturday is just a choice for those that want to try it, certainly not compulsory - Helen Jane Merritt A wonderful piece of poetic prose so glad you didn't stick to the six words Sonja
- Sonja Chan Glad to have shared my thoughts with you all, too, Helen, thanks much for the kind comment!:)
Mieke Kolder It is so beautiful, what you paint and how. Glad there are people here like you to give me such delight to enjoy.
Random thoughts that obtain at the spur of the moment: -conveying recall of time gone, projecting aspirations and preferences for the future, revealing present choices and dispositions, ushering one's heart to aspects unreal.....these make up reconstructed time.
