One more 2010 summer special I had was in lovely and windy Chicago, best for me to remember right now for the reason that she, as well as we, in New England are presently being battered by a snow storm. Fact is, some hours ago, we had shoveled away some 14 to 15 inches of snow out of the driveway.... and the winds and snow continue to rage outside.
Now the Chicago I'd love to remember had the sun out and shining with the cool breeze against my face and through my hair as I started to enjoy the city.....first with my dearest friend Araceli.
The legendary Chicago Theatre -
The Chicago Loop - an elevated rapid transit line -
The Cloud Gate, nicknamed The Bean because if its shape, a sculpture inspired by liquid mercury said to let visitors see their own reflection mirrored against the skyline -
a picture of me taking a picture of Cely and Norie - ...find it? I mean, find me?
The Crown Fountain has hundreds of faces of people that rotate - every few minutes water shoots out of a mouth -
The State of Illinois Building -
- featuring an exposed red steel frame and bright turquoise cladding -
btw, there was a supposed shooting of a film here starring two partners-in-crime, who
also make up a certain department! - :)

The magnificent Queen of Angels Cathedral, where we'd go Sundays -
The St Cornelius Church, where I'd go for mass everyday - (just a couple of minutes away from home tapos susunduin pa ako!) :)

from out of the museum .... fronting the Soldier Field? -

and then it was time to leave Chicago for NY La Guardia..... :(
